Exterior cosmetic redesign for a modern farmhouse in Santa Monica. The goal was to transform an outdated, aging modern farmhouse into something more dramatic and sophisticated. We removed the decaying wood siding and rusted railing and replaced it with a creamy stucco. We repainted the entire house to a warmer white and finished the trim in a dark blueish black, accompanied by modern, antique brass light fixtures to accent the blue undertones in the trim. We hope the new owners bring an olive tree and outdoor seating into the landscaping to soften the exterior and make it feel like home.
